Douglas Ford Jr. was born in Etobicoke on November 20, 1964 and is a Canadian businessman and politician in Toronto, Ontario. Doug represented Ward 2 Etobicoke North from 2010-2014 as a Toronto City Councillor.

In the 1990’s, Doug became involved in running the family label printing business, Deco Labels and Flexible Packaging, which his father had founded in 1962 as Deco Labels and Tags. In 2002, he became the President of the company and is solely responsible for its expansion into Chicago and New Jersey.

In 2016, Doug co-authored and published a book with his brother, the Late Rob Ford, former Mayor of Toronto. The book is entitled “Ford Nation: Two Brothers, One Vision- The true story of the People’s Mayor”.

Doug still resides in Etobicoke with his wife, Karla and four daughters, Krista, Kayla, Kara and Kyla.
